We spent our Xmas holidays at this stunning estate surrounded by rice fields and lush vegetation. the house is beautifully designed, with traditional and colonial elements, which make it unique and special. the pool was inviting and refreshing, and the food was beyond our expectations - we loved the traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. the location was ideal, close enough to key attractions, but far enough from the crowded tourist spots.
We didn't like that there were some mosquitos in the area, which were a bit annoying at times. some amenities were lacking, such as room service and a gym, which would have been great since we wanted to stay active during our vacation.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The hotel facilities were top-notch with a beautiful swimming pool and a well-manicured garden. The staff were very friendly and discrete, ensuring that our stay was comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, with various options to choose from. The hotel's location made it easy for us to get to the beach by taking a short transportation ride.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

This hotel, surrounded by peaceful paddy fields, provides a serene and tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. The spacious rooms were tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. The attention to detail, such as the owner personally designing the cutlery and tea set, showcased the hotel's commitment to providing a unique experience for their guests. The warm and accommodating staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home throughout my stay. Additionally, the breakfast served was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.

The hotel's location was a bit far from the beach and required a long walk or taxi ride to get there. the room was small and lacked proper ventilation making it feel cramped and stuffy. the bathroom could have been cleaner and more modern. the service was average at best, with staff seeming disinterested in their guests. the breakfast was uninspired and left much to be desired. Despite the nice view of the paddy fields and the swimming pool, the overall experience was forgettable.
The food options were limited and not accommodating to dietary restrictions.

The location was great and we were surprised at how close we were to all the major attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The water pressure in the bathroom could have been better. the complimentary soap was not replenished during our stay.
